What is Hikvision ColorVu?

Hikvision ColorVu technology is able to capture details — including colours — in low lighting scenarios. This is possible due to advanced lenses and high-performance sensors. Combined with a supplemental light for extremely dark scenarios, ColorVu cameras guarantee video with colourful details when you need them.

 

By comparison, conventional CCTV cameras use infrared lighting. Night-time footage of people, vehicles, or other important objects is blurry. Targets can blend into the background, making it difficult to identify details.

Colour-related information can be very important, particularly for analysis. However, conventional cameras often lose important details when rendered into only black and white images.

Larger Apertures

  • The F1.0 "super-aperture" collects more light to produce brighter images.

  • Built-in, environmentally-friendly, soft and warm optional supplemental lighting works to guarantee colorful images, even in complete darkness.

  • The luminance is adjustable on a scale of 0-100.
